Lately, I have been doing some with with my good friend/accomplice
Martin Woolley.
We had planned to animate a series of films called 'Darkumentaries' which are a collection of weird/creepy/gruesome stories from history.
However, problems ensued as he was living in Bristol and I was living back home. Obviously this made animation tricky, so we decided the other week to instead turn the films into a series of graphic novels/comics.
The first in the series is called: 'The Mad Trapper of Rat River' and so far we've done some concept work and the script. Rough page layouts have also been started.
This is what it looks like so far:
Basically, as you can tell it involves Canadian Mounties, and we decided to use similar backgrounds to those I used in
the music video I animated.
More work as we do it!
